Interesting… The two triangles and the gate can form a pyramid of some sort. I wonder how the graph of the area of the triangular pyramid as the sun moves from sunrise to sunset and back. Would there be a break in the graph?

The Crack in the sidewalk and the wall can make two similar triangles, or if you imagine it to be a plane a similar Triangular pyramid. This feels like an average “rate at which the volume changes if…” question.
