More Parabolas in Nature

I like the natural parabola formed by these hills.  Or maybe it’s an inverted bell-curve.  Whatever this North side of Eagle Lake, Acadia National Park is, it’s lovely.

It’s Acadia National Park, near Bar Harbor, Maine.

Would that not be a hyperbola … or (a non-infinite) half of one? The other half is hopefully reflected in the clean, unpolluted water…
