Math Art: PolyPuzzle Super Sphere

This is “Blue Green Super Sphere”, by Robert Stowell, on display at the 2012 Bridges Math and Art Conference at Towson University.

This was created using PolyPuzzle, a system that laser-cuts paper pieces to high precision.  You can see the three different kinds of pieces here, in blue, green, and purple.
