Math Photo: Pi/4 Radians

One-fourth Pi Radians

While playing around building trains, it occurred to me that one link of curved track was a nice, everyday representation of \frac{\Pi}{4} radians, as each link is one-eighth of a full circle.

This photo is a great starting point to make an animation to illustrate the pi/4 turn.
